| Marky, I'm kinda one up on you at the moment, because I've heard a track from "Tools For Tales", and its nothing short of amazing. Its Jaco's inventiveness kicked up the arse by Becker and Fagen's horn voicings! Nothing like the Gypsys. I know everyone on this forum would totally dig it (I'm pretty sure it would blow Wayne's mind, because its right up his alley), and I wish I could let everyone hear this tune, but I'm afraid I can't share it. All I can say is a thousand thanks to Xavier for allowing me to hear it, and I hope my email reaches you before this post does....... |

I've lived across the road from a marina for thirty yerass. I finally sent in to buy something. The owner does lots and lots of repair work. He could have gotten me the same Petits as Jaco used, but he talked me out of it. Petit now has a clear shellac that is the hardest hting they make (Likethe stuff Jaco's was when he bought the stuff he bought). First coat went on nice, looks good, drying slow in the nothern winter.
When I am done, I will tell you what it is provided it works well. I don't want to send anyone in the wrong direction before we know how it will work. It better work, it's $33 a quart!
