| Im growing really tired of my SR 406 Soundgear bass. Im really wanting to sell it and I wanted to know what you guys think Icoudl get for it ? I bought it for 435 and ive acually kind of upgraded it . I was thinking 400 would be reasonable. |

Id put the buy it now price for 380 and not specify shipping, then the bids may go over that, but you have to make sure you give a great description and point out everything that has to do with the bass. And if you didn't know im talking ebay

You probably won't get as much as you want, it's just how it goes. I was considering selling my Schecter (which was $450 new), I brought it to 3 guitar shops to see who would give me the best price. The highest I got was $250. I tried Ebay and only got up to $300 then cancelled the auction. In the end, I decided to keep it, it's just not worth it.

If you make 60% of the price you spent on it back, you'll be doing VERY well!
Generally, instruments of any kind lose value quickly. Basses and guitars actually hold theirs better than, say, a trumpet. My trumpet has a new price of $1200, I paid less than $500 in great shape!
I'd keep the upgraded hardware/electronics if you can, instead of re-buying it later.
