On the Al DiMeola album, Elegant Gypsy, Anthony Jackson seems to have some sort of a filter on his bass on some of the songs (for example, Midnight Tango). I was wondering if anyone here knows what he's using to create this great sound

The sound is in a sense 'cool' but I think it sounds too clanky and metallic. Just my opinion. It sounds like some sort of flanger or chorus effect though. The whole album is fantastic IMO. Al's guitar playing is off the wall as usual. This album along with some Return to Forever really got me into Al's work and I sure am glad that I did.
