On December 2nd, 2007 at the Broward Center Of Performing Arts in Fort Lauderdale, friends, family, and performers came together to celebrate the life and music of Jaco Pastorius. Hailed by the Broward Center's president, Mark Nerenhausen, as one of the most artistic shows ever presented there, the night was a resounding success and a monument to Jaco as a person as well as for his pioneering contributions to music.
